When you take the A train uptown to Inwood – 207 Street, you land in a culturally rich neighborhood. Inwood exists at the northernmost peak of the island of Manhattan. Though 51% of its land remains green as it was hundreds of years ago, the rest of the area is lined with diverse restaurants, local businesses, and residents. With a mix of people of different backgrounds, primarily those of Irish, Dominican, and Puerto Rican descent, Inwood is a unique example of how different cultures manage to live in one neighborhood.
