Music/YouTube groups

    • Arden Cho: a really talented YouTube singer who sometimes works with Wong Fu Productions and The Jubilee Project. She is recently involved in a new video titled “Picture Perfect.”
    • Cathy Nguyen: a really good YouTube singer; she sometimes works with Wong Fu Productions. She has posted up Vlogs (video blogs).
    • Clara C: really skilled composer of music; look through her music on YouTube when you get a chance. She also works with The Jubilee Project and Wong Fu Productions on occasion.
    • Daniel Choo: posts up videos of various Christian music and offers tutorials on how to play them on the guitar. Pretty helpful in helping you to figure out how to play other songs on guitar as well I suppose.
    • David Choi: has some really good music worth listening to; his music videos are not bad either. He has worked with both Wong Fu Productions and The Jubilee Project.
    • Dennis Kuo: just discovered him recently; a YouTuber who posts up a lot of calming instrumental (usually piano) music. Extremely relaxing.
    • Jason Chen: a YouTube singer who sings many covers of popular songs. Two of his biggest hits are “Best Friend” and “Gravity.” He has been known to sing many Chinese songs as well, devoting another channel entirely for that. His motto is: “Music Never Sleeps.”
    • Jayesslee: twin Korean girls (Sonia and Janice Lee) that were born in Australia who sing various secular and Christian music; they occasionally compose new songs. Some singles they have released include: Dare You to Move (Switchfoot), Breakeven (The Script), The Christmas Song, Secrets (One Republic) and I Won’t Give Up (Jason Mraz). I really hope they release something they have composed on their own, maybe Amazed by You.
    • Jesse Chui: composer for many Wong Fu Productions and The Jubilee Project videos
    • Joe Hiaishi: a composer of contemporary classical music. You may have heard of his music from My Neighbor Totoro and Ponyo. Some songs I would recommend are Summer and The Path of Wind.
    • The Jubilee Project: a YouTube group that focuses their videos on serving a greater purpose, to raise awareness of things that go on in society that need to be fixed. Their motto: “Doing Good is Contagious.” The group comprises of brothers Eddie Lee and Jason Lee as well as their friend Eric Lu. Their biggest hit is entitled “Love Language.” I have had the honor of meeting Eric randomly. Even though it was short, it was a great experience!
    • Megan Lee: a really good singer with her own YouTube channel; she has been part of one of The Jubilee Project’s videos titled “Be The Change” and appeared in “Back to Innocence.” She also covers many Korean songs.
    • NAK: a Filipino? music artist who likes doing a lot of rapping. I got to listen to his music when a friend of mine introduced me to them. One of my favorite songs from him is “Night Sky.”
    • Sukima Switch: known for their music for Fullmetal Alchemist and Pokémon as well as for other anime
    • SHINee: a Korean pop music group. Lucifer is a good song.
    • Super Junior: another Korean pop music group. Their best songs that I prefer are Bonamana and Sorry, Sorry.
    • Wong Fu Productions: a YouTube group that posts various comedic and/or romantic videos. They come in music videos or short films. This group is comprised of 3 members: Philip Wang, Ted Fu, and Wesley Chan.
    • Yiruma: for those of you who do not like classical music, this is a more contemporary view of this music. His music is really calming and worth listening to every so often. Start off with River Flows with You.
