Hi all,

This Tuesday at noon, we will meet for the Chelsea Gallery Crawl. This activity feeds directly into your next blog post, due Sunday 9/23. You may complete this activity on your own–you may even choose to look at galleries in a different part of town–but you are strongly encouraged to attend.

We will convene at noon on the High Line at 20th st. The High Line is an elevated park that runs parallel to 10th Avenue. Enter via staircase at 20th St, just west of 10th Ave. PLEASE BE ON TIME. If for any reason you wish to attend but find yourself running late, email me (laura.kolb@baruch.cuny.edu), so I know to look out for you.

From our initial meeting point, you will be free to explore nearby galleries. You can explore them systematically (choosing in advance what you want to see) or–my own preferred method–you can wander into them in a scattershot way, making discoveries.

If you like, can also check out public art on the High Line itself (taking care of both halves of your blog post at once)

See you soon,

Prof Kolb
