March 2013 Meeting Minutes

Date: March 5, 2013

A new social networking site for CUNY, through CUNY portal.
It’s a test run. Macaulay is not pushing it.
If you want something in macaulay Monday, get it in the Thursday before the macaulay Monday. Preferably before 3:00 in the afternoon.
Remind other organization leaders to get on it.
Things that are major specific or class specific are needed well in advance.
The building needs to close at 11:00 on most nights.

Past Events:
V Day: It went well, raised 200 dollars, over 80 people.
Blood Drive: it was the first. It was a lot of red tape. Opening it up to the public. Final numbers are still uncertain with regards to who donated. We did not know that we could open it to the public until the day before. Perhaps a sign in sheet to keep a record of how people know about it.
The Triplets: Kristy won award for best soloist. It was a good showing given that the Triplets are a year old. There is a May Concert. Rent sound system, pianos, performance infrastructure.
April 6: A Capella festival at Muhlenberg
The Marauders are fundraising for the world cup. Everyone is funded like a club. Anything special requires a proposal submission.
Second Supporting Excellence Conference: It went well. Its on youtube.
