Edwin Burrows

Edwin Burrows is an esteemed professor of History at Brooklyn College. He is the Pulitzer Prize winning author of Gotham: A History of New York City to 1898. He joined the Brooklyn College faculty in 1973, and he provided a wealth of information on the impact of the fiscal crisis on the CUNY system, and its students. Mr. Burrows spoke of fewer students on CUNY campuses and described how the quality of education was sacrificed. His insight was very helpful.
