As of May 2018, the FDA has established new nutrition labelling legislation to require restaurants to post calorie content for each menu item. This has been done in an effort to encourage people to make more health conscious food choices, and indirectly prevent obesity. In this project, we researched the effectiveness of nutrition labeling on menus.
Since March, we have been advised to stay at home to reduce the effects of the Coronavirus. We studied how the physical activity and health of adults in the United States have been affected as a result.
Studies show that even just a short walk per day can improve mental, emotional, and physical health. Our project demonstrates the different benefits that can be experienced with routine exercise.
