On November 18th, Jon Friedman hosted The Rejection Show at the UCB Theatre.
As stated on UCB Theatre’s website “It’s The Rejection Show featuring appearances by comedians/writers sharing their rejected material and hilarious failures!”
Several comedians came on stage to talk and share their experiences with rejection.
The show started with the host Jon Friedman talked about himself as a child in elementary school, and read several entries in his journal that he was to keep for school. After re-reading them after many years, he discovered that the last entry in his journal was not written by him, but by his brother and in this last entry was very explicit things. When he looked at his grade he realized that his teacher never actually read his journal. Thus his journals were considered rejected.

Next on stage was Matt McCarthy who did a skit that was rejected from a comedy competition.
