The Archdiocesan Cultural Center in Astoria, NY promotes Hellenistic tradition and heritage 1. They provide activities contributing to the promotion of Cultural, ethnic, and religious identity for Greek Americans. There are high quality events and community activities. They have also hosted many concerts and musical groups. They have a Byzantine bookstore and free Byzantine Music lessons. It also has Greek dancing lessons.
Saint Demetrios Cathedral is a warm and welcoming Greek Orthodox church in Astoria 2.
