Food Miles

Food Miles

One of the aspects we decided to research was food miles. This calculates how far the food has to travel from where it is manufactured to where it is sold to the consumer. The farther away the shipment is, and the more frequent the shipment is, the less environmentally sustainable the food product is. This is because more gas is used and therefore more air pollution is being caused.
