First, this is the full documentary on The Exterminating Angel featuring commentary from composer Thomas Adès. The singing begins around 48:20, but the entire thing is a good introduction to the opera, the composer’s creative process, and the production.

Next, if you like you can watch some of Adès’s past operas to get a better sense of his style and soundworld. This is The Tempest, which ran at the Met two seasons ago, based on Shakespeare’s play. This is a scene from Act II.
