The age of Corona’s population peaks at ages 20 through 40, and this peak has remained quite steady for the past decade. Many of the people living in Corona are immigrants, mostly from Hispanic countries. Sometimes, entire families immigrate together. However, a large percentage of the immigrants that settle in Corona are young, single men (mostly in their twenties and thirties) who immigrate on their own in search of better economic conditions.
The above graph shows the number of people in each age group in Corona. The chart peaks at ages 20 through 40, reflecting the large number of young immigrants settling in the neighborhood.
