Plaza de Sol Family Health Center is a branch of Urban Health Plan, Inc., a not-for-profit community center created to “improve the health status of underserved communities.” Urban Health Plan, Inc. has over 10 locations and has received numerous recognitions including the Davies Award for Excellence. Transitional Services for New York Inc. (TSINY) is a not-for-profit institution created to help those with mental disabilities to gain their independence. TSINY has individual and dorm-like accommodations to house up to 500 persons and is partnered with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York to provide nursing and home health aide to those who may need it.

Family Medical Health and Urgent Care is affiliated with New York Hospital
Medical Center of Queens and Long Island Jewish Hospital. The office accepts over 20 different types of insurance including, but not limited to, Medicare and HIP. A myriad of services are offered, some of which are x-rays, drug screenings, physicals, PAP tests and immunizations. The two main doctors are Dr. Santo Basileo and Dr. Silvio R. Tasso, who also have an office located in Bellerose.

The National Pediatric Center specializes in internal medicine, pediatrics, and psychiatry. It serves approximately 200 patients per day, however, it does not have the facilities to support on site surgeries. The 6 major doctors affiliated with the National Pediatric Center are Dr. Francisco Alonso, Dr. Violeta Gomez Mendez, Dr. Fermin Gonzalez, Dr. Howard Hinestroza, Dr. Salvador Perez and Dr. Elsa Reynoso.
