Although prediabetes does not have its own set of signs or symptoms, individuals may experience some of the classic warning signs/symptoms of type 2 diabetes.

This includes:

▪Fatigue                        ▪ Increased thirst      ▪Frequent urination     ▪Blurred vision

It is very important to look out for some of these warning signs because without intervention, prediabetes will most likely become type 2 diabetes in 10 years or less. What is equally important to realize, however, is that this transition from prediabetes to type 2 diabetes is not inevitable. In fact, prediabetes should be an opportunity for you to improve your health and a chance for you to fight against diabetes.
