PURPOSE

“All immigrants experience conflicts of social identity when confronted by the necessity of remaking their lives in a new society” (Oswald,2012). The purpose of this website is to allow an exploration of Caribbean diasporic identity in New York City through an analysis of art and culture, music, religion, the LGBTQ  community and the second and 1.5 generation  of immigrants.
