Furthermore, in Leftist ideology, “there can be equal protection of the laws only if those produce equal outcomes for favored grievance groups”. (McCarthy, 252) Thus if current constitutional law is creating a problem for Muslim citizens, surely our laws—which apply equally to everyone—are at fault (rather than the uncomfortable ties between Islam and terrorism. Undoubtedly, it is this pernicious feature of Leftist thought which allows for the Islamist seeking conquest through less intrusive means than performance-violence (terrorism) to subtly achieve their ends. Islamophyllic western leaders such as Obama, afraid to confront the Islamists for fear of reprisal or political incorrectness, or indeed tolerant of the candy-coated ideologies they espouse in public, and essentially having the same short term goals, thus passively allow for the eventual Islamicization of their respective countries. Europe has already been cited as evidence of this Unholy Alliance at work.
Although the U.S. may be home to only 1.4-1.8 million Muslims, the belief that such radical changes as have happened in Europe can not happen here, is extremely dangerous. The unholy alliance of Islamist and Neocommunist allows Muslim Brotherhood organizations, which have more power and reach than one might think possible due to the support of the Saudi Arabian kingdom, to use the current political system to leverage their way into positions of power in order that they might depose of it once and for all. McCarthy warns us, saying, “When a group is on a mission to alter the playing field rather than just trying to fit in, it requires much smaller critical mass to have real impact. It’s members—its agitators—punch way above their weight”. (McCarthy, 263) When we also take into account the intensely well organized, active, and well-funded organizations with ties to world Islamist groups that adhere to the same fundamentalist principles, the menace facing the Western world today is nothing short of calamitous. Thus, when it comes to the threat Islamists pose on our American way of life, no expense can be spared in first understanding, and then combating both the immediately violent and latently subtle attacks which confront us.
Time and time again however, the current leftist administration has shown its true colors to be in alliance NOT with the bedrock American principles of constitutional democracy and individual liberty, but with the fundamentally inimical concepts of “social justice”, collectivism, and statism, which are informed through their utopian and millenarian worldview. The radical left has repeatedly blanked out on the ultimate designs of the Islamists, even granting concessions to Islamist groups or figureheads when their mutual goals align. Among these concessions (figurative or otherwise) are Obama’s prostration to Kin Abdullah Bin Baz of Saudi Arabia during his visit to the middle-east (something which no other American president has done, or has cause to do), Bloomberg and others’ support for the Park-51 mosque being proposed at the foot of the WTC site (religious freedoms aside, this presents a very potent humiliation to those who have lost loved ones on that fateful day), and the tons of Muslim apologists in the media who clamor that Islam is a “tolerant” religion of “peace”, that the suicide bombers who murdered 3,000 Americans on 9/11 and countless innocent men and women throughout the years were VICTIMS rather than murderers, and that sharia law is fundamentally compliant with the U.S. constitution (as proclaimed by the infamous Imam Faisal Abdul Rahman) .
