Islam and the Left: An Unholy Alliance

One need look no further than the slowly emerging sharia enclaves of Europe in order to see this strategy at work. McCarthy explains, to the devastation of Western audiences, how “the landscape in Europe as well as Australia is dotted by no-go zones: Muslim neighborhoods where police no longer control, sovereignty having been effectively surrendered to local imams, shura councils, and Muslim gangs”. (McCarthy, 96) An estimated eight million people in France, 12% of the population, live in the country’s ‘sensitive urban areas’, areas which have relinquished state control to local Muslim authorities and are slowly beginning  to see the application of elements of sharia law. (McCarthy, 96) In London, the name ‘Mohammed’ is the most common throughout the city—and alliances with the U.K’s labor party are leading to an England that is barely recognizable. As we can see—and it’s impossible not to – Islamism is slowly making progress in Europe and around the world in achieving its aims of widespread political and religious subjugation. Neither the purported goals of Islam’s fundamentalists, nor the political nature of the doctrine, and certainly not the feasibility or determination of those who carry it out can be dismissed or ignored in favor of ‘political correctness’. Surely this should be a chilling reminder for the United States—just an ocean away, and facing the same threats through the same avenues, that it needs to do away with its ill-informed policies of passive tolerance regarding Islamism in America, and act quickly to stem the threat of Jihad by sabotage which has slowly been growing undercover in its own backyard.
