Howdy, fellow Macaulay kids. I’m sure by the title you know my name is Anthony Cacchione. As I’m sure everyone learned in class, I am from Philadelphia. However, I was actually born in St. Louis, Missouri, so I am very new to this “big city” atmosphere. I am looking forward to the adventures of New York. I’m hoping this class can help me explore the city. I am an economics major, which isn’t all that interesting or exciting. My main passion is baseball. I will be playing for the CCNY team as a Left-handed pitcher, so be sure to go to some of our games this Spring. I know nothing about baseball. But, the blog looks great, and it also looks like you’re no stranger to writing what you think. That’s a good skill.
I too know nothing about baseball but you seem to follow the sport really well. I think I’ll come to you if I ever plan on making bets on big games.
I also would not say that economics isn’t exciting, I think it is the best social science major that is offered. It also goes a long way with any job you have as basic economic principles can guide you in making personal investments (which can turn that extra 2k a year in savings into 200k or even more over a period of time).
