We will be investigating how a variety of factors, mainly community demographics, income, and ethnic background, affect the planting of street trees in two community districts (District 11 and District 13), both in the past, and in the present. This will be done by researching each set of factors in each neighborhood and comparing them to the numbers of street trees in each community.

Wow! This is a great project that is well thought out and analyzed. There have been many initiatives here in the United States and globally that have aimed to plant trees to support biodiversity, climate issues, food insecurity, and communities, but it is clear that they have not all been successful. I think that one of the most important issues of social equity has been addressed well in your project. Additionally, hurricane Sandy is still wreaking havoc on our community even more than ten years later. I agree that we need to fortify our eco defenses here so that we can protect ourselves from the next hurricane.
