Have you ever wondered how the surrounding environment of a park impacts its species? There are many factors that provide context to the differences between the parks we researched, such as the history of creation, the difference in socioeconomic status surrounding the parks, and urbanization.

I really enjoyed this poster, especially with all the background information and inferences put into the analysis. I also like how you used maps instead of only numerical data. One question I have is what are the most prominent species across both parks?

This is such an interesting poster! Comparing the biodiversity of birds in urban parks versus suburban parks is a great way of seeing how different ecosystems have different animal populations. I learned how the landscape of the park impacts what animals reside and the population, as Central Park has more trees to inhabit birds unlike Eisenhower Park.

The hotspot maps are visible and excel at communicating information quickly for the viewer! One concern I have is that the data may be biased because more total observations were made in Central park, leading to a seemingly higher biodiversity count than Eisenhower park. It may have been useful to find out if that is the case, and perhaps compare the ratio of species observed to number of observations made.
