My Seminar 1 class was given the privilege to go see the new Broadway show KPOP the Musical during its preview weeks. It was so much fun to watch and as a fan of the genre I got inspired by it for my project. Music is an art on its own, so it was fitting to see the genre of k-pop be turned into a live musical with some k-pop idols in the city big on diversity, cultures, and all things Broadway. The video is in a podcast format, a little over 5 minutes, where I take a closer look into k-pop and compare it to the musical and what makes both so special and entertaining as similar but separate art forms.
