After spending an entire semester learning about various displaced communities in New York City, our seminar class attended a performance that discussed one of the most prominent displaced neighborhoods in Manhattan, San Juan Hill. What is moving by this and how we want to draw connections as a group is that this performance was held at Lincoln Center, the location built on top of San Juan Hill. So to compare this performance we did so with other art, movies, exhibits, and informative events prior to the performance.
