I can only vaguely remember the play The Tempest (I read it at least 5 years ago, and my memory is really bad), but I do think that it was a very interesting choice to place the piece with Goethe poem. Both have themes of magic, spirit, conspiracy, etc.

Yes, I totally see the correlation between the two. To add on to your list of overlapping themes, I would like to include the theme of determining reality from nonreality, what is apparently there versus what is actually there, which is expressed through the guise of ‘magic.’ Very interesting choice, indeed!
