Christian Rojas

My name is Christian Rojas and I was born on Long Island, New York. I grew up in the town of Brentwood in Suffolk County. I spent my childhood enjoying urban, suburban, and rural areas as I was not far from New York City or the peaceful farms of Out East.

I am of Colombian and Spanish decent and I am fluent in English in Spanish. My parents both immigrated to the United States in the mid-80’s and worked multiple jobs to support a family. They raised 3 children, the middle of which I am. Almost all of my family still resides in South America or Europe.

I attended St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School prior to entering Macaulay Honors College at Hunter. In high school I took part in Cross Country and Track and Field and was captain for 2 years.

Now in College, I am eager to pursue a higher education in Biochemistry and German. I hope to attend medical school in the future and take advantage if the opportunity my parents have given me.
