This project, completed by Maeve Harkin, Thomas Szymanski and Chantel Umeozor, demonstrates the impact of access to a quiet work space on educational performance. While Internet access was an integral educational tool during the pandemic, it did not guarantee student success. In our limited survey, we found that even with access to the Internet, half of people who experienced a drop in grades during the pandemic did not have access to a quiet space to complete work.

During the pandemic, everyone was home. This meant less quiet space. Not having quiet space meant you couldn’t focus and work efficiently, which would be detrimental to your academics and GPA. Overall, I agree with your conclusion.
