This project was completed by Yashaswi Manneru, Mohammad Hasan, Billie Estrine, and Lesley Ojilere. Our project is on the Japanese Knotweed(Fallopia japonica) and its correlation with surrounding biodiversity, particularly other plants. We believed it would have a negative correlation with the number of plants within the area based on Fallopia japonica’s behavior. Using iNaturalist we looked at various Bronx parks and found results that we did not expect. To learn more, click here for a pdf version of our poster.
