When our seminar class went to see Tosca due to the distance from the stage it was difficult to not only see but appreciate the details of the production. Details which require a closer inspection or a second glance are often overlooked in a production of this scale since people are often occupied with the overall message. Sometimes it is important to slow down and think of the parts which make up the greater whole. The work that goes into a production of this scale does not begin and end with the acting so it is often essential to analyze the work that is happening behind the scenes that goes into the final product.
