Our project focused on bumblebees and honeybees and how they contribute to crops and plants in NYC. People should be considerate of bees when spotted and not chase them off or kill them. About 80% of our fruits and vegetables are pollinated by bees so we rely on them to make our foods tasty. It came down to bumblebees as the most effective pollinator due to higher population and techniques.
