My project is a slideshow/video presentation that delves into some parallels between 21 Savage’s music video for “A lot” and Carrie Mae Weems’ photo series titled “The Kitchen Table Series”. When my class and I first began discussing Weems’ photo series, I immediately saw connections between the photos and the music video for “A lot”. Now I want to share with you all what I observed.
