As you know, your Interview is due on 11/23. Your complete work should be a 5-7 minute video. Upload your video to Vimeo and post a link to the video to the blog. Kiersten’s instructions on video are posted here.
If you have not already you need to sign up for a Vimeo account and send me your username and the email address you associated with the account, so that I can add you to our class Vimeo group. Abishek, David, Jason, Jenny, Josh, Ivan, Mariama, Nikkel, Sean, Shannon, Ryan, and Zarif… that means YOU! Sign up for Vimeo and send me your info ASAP.
Do we need to create Vimeo accounts if we just plan to post the interview to youtube?
Make a Vimeo account in any case so that you can be in the class group and easily see all of the group’s videos.
You don’t have to post your own video to Vimeo–you can post it to YouTube instead–however you can’t make your YouTube video private and still expect us to be able to view it. So if you (and your subject!) are OK with no privacy for the video, feel free to post to YouTube. If you want the video to be private to the wider world but visible to the class group, then post your video into your Vimeo account.
