Something I noticed this week as I walked around artfully was a jazz band playing in the park near New York University. Two of my friends and I had bought crepes and we headed towards this park which was part of the New York University campus and we heard this band of three. One was playing the saxophone, one was playing percussion and the last was playing the trumpet. It was a beautiful day and the art of music sounded throughout the big field. It was very different than the regular pop music I listen to and another type of art. Jazz is definitely very unique, similar to the Walmart Art that is displayed below.
