Throughout our Zine we wanted to showcase how although New York City is one of the largest cities in the world, filled with over eight million people and stories, once one zooms in, the city is not as overwhelming as it may seem. Starting college in the city has been daunting, but each day we discover ourselves more and find our place in this bustling environment. As one looks closer into the city that never sleeps, the bright lights that first seem blinding from the outside, are simply spotlights and desk lamps that individuals use to simply make dinner or just read a book. As you delve deeper in the city, you see it less as an intimidating setting and more as a home. We want to share this journey with our audience.
