Over the course of the history of New York City, there has been a fluctuation in the crime rate due to a variety of extraneous factors. Since seasonal weather changes have been linked to shifts in human behavior and activities, our research aims to investigate the presence of a seasonal trend for the 7 major crimes in New York City.
This project studies the declines in felony crimes in NYC between the years 2000 and 2020, and why these declines occurred.

Willowbrook Park Pond is located in the middle of Staten Island, right next to the College of Staten Island campus. The park offers a large man-made pond, many species of flora, a carousel, and miles of hiking trails for guests.
