With the whole scope of New York City as our canvas and words & photographs as our mediums, we illustrate the city through our unique personal perspectives in this zine.
Tasked with creating individual photo-journals, we came to realize that the smaller, isolated moments loomed larger in our memories of our class. As such, we highlighted our photos as vignettes.
In a city of 9 million people, we become desensitized to the massive clusters of people—complex lives becoming mere background dressing. Our zine aims to change that with sonder.
