Our Atlas of New York City is centered around several trips experienced this semester, including outings to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the High Line, the City Center, plays at Lehman, and the Harlem Chamber Players. Each map documents the cartographer’s personal feelings and distinctive encounters that occurred during one of these trips. Since these trips are all based in New York City, the maps are also decorated to resemble buildings found in the city.
