John Lennon has memorials but one of the most visited is the one here in New York. Located in Central Park West, Strawberry Fields is an oasis for dreamers to celebrate peace and togetherness in the name of the late John Lennon. One well known local named the “Mayor of Strawberry Fields” dedicated almost 20 years to Strawberry Fields decorated the Imagine circle and giving tours and monologues to tourists about Lennon and his family. He passed away due to leukemia in 2013. My creative addition to Strawberry Fields includes a statue of Gary and would serve as a place to give flowers in memory of all his dedication to this memorial.

I did not know about Gary. I really like your planned proposal to recognize his legacy, as inspired by Lennon’s. Thank you for sharing, Isabella!
