Our research and data analysis sought to prove a direct correlation between the presence of White Nose Syndrome and the decreasing population of three different species of bats in New York State. This research, analysis, and poster was completed by Samantha Lee, Briana Fevrier, David Lema, and Leo Kouklanakis.

This was a great topic to explore, as I was not aware of the White-nose syndrome and how it has been affecting bat populations. The R^2 values that you provided for the Nothern Long Ear bats and Tri-color bats are very close to 1, which does indicate a negative correlation between the presence of PD and the bat population numbers. However, I was wondering if there are other factors that could be contributing to declining bat population numbers along with an increase in PD populations.
