Our research and data analysis sought to prove a direct correlation between the presence of White Nose Syndrome and the decreasing population of three different species of bats in New York State. This was a great topic to explore, as I was not aware of the White-nose syndrome and how it has been affecting bat populations. The R^2 values that you provided for the Nothern Long Ear bats and Tri-color bats are very close to 1, which does indicate a negative correlation between the presence of PD and the bat population numbers. However, I was wondering if there are other factors that could be contributing to declining bat population numbers along with an increase in PD populations.
