I am honored to be a part of the Macaulay Honors Program at Baruch College. Studying in New York City gives me the privilege of attaining an education that is laced with the richness of culture and at the same time, intertwined with the world of business.
As part of the second wave of immigration to the City, I find it fascinating to observe how immigrants interact with what NYC has to offer. Public spaces, namely parks, provide us with a great opportunity to study the dynamics of modern-day immigration and gauge the level of assimilation among newcomers.
