It took me 18 years to realize how beautiful New York City truly is. Before starting college at Baruch, I spent most of my time on Staten Island traveling to the other boroughs of NYC only when necessary. Within the past few months, however, I’ve marveled at the architecture of the Ford Building, I’ve had (unhealthy amounts of) bubble tea, I’ve watched an opera at the Met, and I’ve combed the streets of East Harlem like a tourist…just to name a few.
While I hope to someday work in the field of finance, there is nothing I love more than exploration, especially within the microcosm of NYC. In my opinion, the allure of New York City never seems to wane. Make the most of NYC’s charm and witness it for yourself, even if that means starting off by visiting one of our parks!
