Marine Park, spanning 798 acres, is Brooklyn’s largest park. Situated between Gerritsen Beach and Mill Basin, the park runs from Filmore Avenue to Avenue U and Stuart Street to East 33rd Street. It surrounds the western part of Jamaica Bay, which allows for salt marshes to grow on its banks.
Although there are no subway stops nearby, the B3 city bus, which runs down Avenue U, will take you directly to the park.
