It seems as though one unique connection between these photos is the fact that they depict mainly ordinary, every day objects – a chair, a glass of water, a curtain, etc. – that in passing would not evoke a second glance. However, when taken out of context and displayed independently, the photos, and the objects depicted seem a lot more powerful, almost making you wonder how many interesting things fall into the background in our daily lives. I think it would be interesting if you continued with this notion of taking ordinary objects out of their atmosphere and singling them out, it would make for an interesting compilation.
