10/11

How does freedom taste

Imagine running to it

Thats how Gilad feels

Two haikus in one sitting

Call me daredevil

10/14

Being a kid again

what a gift playing indoor football

and being ninjas

10/15

Sleeping what a gift

That I take advantage of

… Sleeping … What a gift

10/16

Time scatters people

Time also brings them back

What an enigma

10/17

Lots of things to do

Only two days to do it =

Not a good Combo

10/18

I wish I could read his mind

To know how it feels after five years

To see his bed and be able to sleep in it tonight

10/19

Some people want rules

Some people want to be free

Freedom’s confusing

10/20

Missing work sucks

Only because you have to

Make it up

10/21

Why can’t I

Remember my Haiku

Oh well… Lets improvise

10/22

Red Bulls in playoffs

This is one time I hope that

the bull wins the cowboy

10/23

Friend’s going back home

Lets give him an awesome last night

A “New York” goodbye

10/24

Accomplished things today

I’ve got a lot more to do

Oh well there’s always tomorrow

10/25

I don’t like writing

Most of all Feature Stories

Ugh… What a hassle

10/26

Work work go away

It is time for me to play

And thats all i will say

10/27

Funny when memory comes back to you

It could be on the way to the bathroom

weird place for dejavu

10/28

Friday come at last

Time to enjoy the weekend

Lets start enjoying

10/29

Not much to say

Running out of Ideas

Please end this Wednesday

10/30

Words are limiting

Most every thing is but we

are limitless

10/31

Should I write about

Halloween for my haiku

Or shouldn’t I?

11/1

Prepare to hear

The greatest words assembled by man

I am done

  1. I think your haikus have a very casual feel, like they are really are just thoughts dropping from your head, both because of your word choice and the topics. They’re very simple and straightforward, and the repetition in some of them give them a songlike rhythm. They revolve around concrete themes, and not really descriptive, so most of them give me the feeling of a passing thought that I might have at the end of the day. I can kinda see how the humour from your pictures is in some of your haikus, and they both give a slice of your daily life well. For my phony Davidhaikus, I tried to follow the things I’ve written above as a guideline. c:
