Another Haiku?

Come on, this is our day off!

Can’t we just relax?
——————————————–
Counting Syllables
Counting Syllables

is a daily occurrence–

when you write Haikus.
——————————————–
Simple
Once upon a time,

I wrote a simple haiku.

This is that haiku.

Autumn Leaves
Do trees choose to change?

Or is it something they must do?

It’s a mystery.
———————————

Gesticulation

Bodies thrash about

like spiders, serpents, or sharks

–gesticulation.
———————————–
Squirrels

Squirrels everywhere–

on sidewalks, trees and fences

–like woodland ninjas.
——————————
Umbrella (Part One)

Unpredictable

October rains force me to

pack an umbrella
——————————-
Sky-pink

The red sun rises

turning the morning sky pink

like cherry blossoms

———————————–
Lightning

of misfortune, when it

shines through the darkness?
——————————————-
The Buddha
One touch on the earth

changed history forever…

in that single moment.
—————————

like water, soups and milk.
