I went to Guggenheim as well and loved Kandinsky’s work. He was a very interesting artist because of the various artistic styles he was able to paint in. I loved his abstract art and I loved your video about him. This was very informative and I love the background music!

This is an artist who I would love to see his work. I liked that Labiba placed the colors that she spoke about when she spoke about them. The way Labiba analyzed the painting made it seem like she took the viewer on a journey of interpreting the artwork. Labiba did a wonderful job engaging the viewers and left the viewer wanting to explore Kandinsky’s other works.

Labiba, this was a terrific video! I was so impressed at how you explained Kadinsky’s work, and made a connection between color and music. I have always found abstract art hard to connect to, but you managed to find connections before that I had not noticed! This video was super informative, you managed to create a very captivating and information rich experience. I especially enjoyed how you asked the audience what colors they think of when they hear a specific piece. It was such an exciting experiment! You did great!

Great job, Labiba! I really enjoyed watching this video and seeing the various art pieces. Kandinsky’s work is so interesting and unique and really prompts introspection. You explained his work really well, in a way that we could understand it, and I really enjoyed the activity where you had us think about how we could experience music in color. Thank you so much for sharing this really informative and enjoyable video!!

I loved how even your video connected to the theme of Kandinsky which is abstract. I love how you showed your audience a group of colors and described the emotions behind these colors and how they can be connected to music. I also like how you played a piece of a song and asked us what colors we think of when we listen to it. This opened up a new dimension of both art and music for me, thank you!
