Chris Cardinali, Henry Mei, Shayaan Mohammed, and Elizabeth Nikolaeva set out to understand the issue of food deserts in New York City. They analyze three neighborhoods: Brownsville, Williamsburg, and the Upper West Side. In doing so, they explore how food insecurity, median household income, and race relate to each other on a neighborhood scale. Afterwards, they propose solutions to food deserts in New York City.
