Nikolas Yilmaz
I worked on my Identity Mask on my own. Along the side I put one of my favorite Paul Simon lyrics: “The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls”. In the corner I drew the New York skyline, which is the backdrop to my identity and intrinsically a part of it. I put the national stamp of Bulgaria to the right, as it is my family’s ethnicity. Music has always been a large part of who I am, and thus I drew my guitar. The R is my train of choice, and is pictured by the orange circle.
