My project is a video on Kolo, which is a style of traditional dance practiced in countries such as Bosnia, Croatia, Albania, and Montenegro. My goal with this project is to educate people on this very entertaining form of dance, and allow others to learn more about this unique culture.

This was a very interesting video. I never heard about Kolo before. It seems similar to Arab dances as well. I love how the music is playing throughout the video and the outfits are very beautiful. I love how the dance allows unity and is beginner-friendly. It is a good representation of Southern European culture.

This was such an interesting video! Kolo seems like a fun dance. My grandfather is from modern-day Croatia, so it was cool learning about a part of Croatian culture.

Lana spoke very eloquently and gave many details regarding the technical skills needed to do this dance and when and how it is performed. The imagery that Lana chose enhanced my understanding of the dance. This is a dance I have never before seen but it seems simple enough to learn and I may encounter it one day.

I never heard of this dance before, but you explained it very clearly! Though different, this dance kind of reminds me of a dance religious Jews tend to do at celebrations. It involves them holding hands and dancing in a circle, sometimes also kicking or moving their feet in unison. Very interesting to note that other cultures share similarities in their dance moves.

Really enjoyed this video! I love how so many cultures have their own dances and steps that they do. Everyone is invited to dance, and there could also be personalization and variety in this dance style! This is a very beautiful way of how many people can connect all because of dance. Loved the video examples you included Lana!
