The aim of this project is to evaluate the difference in demographics of those in Lower Manhattan and in the Jamaica Bay area (the Rockaways). We hope that this research can shed light on the issue of environmental racism in New York City. Through this, we hope add on to the empirical evidence that POC communities are at a disadvantage.
