Over the course of the history of New York City, there has been a fluctuation in the crime rate due to a variety of extraneous factors. Since seasonal weather changes have been linked to shifts in human behavior and activities, our research aims to investigate the presence of a seasonal trend for the 7 major crimes in New York City.

How can sustainable fashion improve NYC? For our project, we will focus on collecting data on three aspects of sustainable fashion — its ethical, environmental, and economic attributions. Because creating change involves trade-offs, we will investigate the interplay of these three aspects to determine whether the positive impacts of the movement outweigh the potential negative impacts.
