  1. I don’t know if you were going for a specific theme when you assembled these photos, but I already see one forming…or maybe I’m just looking too much into it. Either way, your photos are very indicative of your interests, things and scenes that inspire you, and concepts that you find amusing (and that mostly everyone can relate to, as with the blank paper). There is sometimes a humorous element to your posts, and there is always a relatable factor, as well as a bit of a nostalgic element. I like that you have your own take on the assignment and that you find art in both the conventional and the unconventional.

  2. Anastasia, can you also provide some suggestions or ideas for how he might further develop the project this week? He doesn’t have to accept your ideas, but offering those suggestions might be helpful.

  3. When I look at my photos I see a person who enjoys video games. He also looks like he enjoys relaxation such as sleep as demonstrated by the bed. As for the mood I think the mood trying to be set is laziness there is a blank screen signifying no work has been done, he plays video games, enjoys sleeping and is riding a train so in general I see a theme of laziness. As for steps on moving forward I don’t necessarily know what is gonna happen or how next weeks artful photos will turn out. I just assume that I’m gonna post something that artfully represents my day that day every day

  4. Glad you found it useful! 🙂 Suggestions: Stick to more of your own photos (such as that of the skyline and even the screencap of the essay..it is, after all, your paper), as opposed to images you find online (but keep the theme because it’s funny and relatable). For example, if you’re playing a video game and you encounter something interesting or funny, pause it and take a picture.

  5. I like the direction where your photos are headed! I like how attentive you are to detail, as seen in your keen and humorous observations of subway posters. Your photos of the city are also nice, and it’s also really interesting how they were all taken on either cloudy or gray days. Keep taking photos of things that inspire you or capture your attention. Perhaps try developing a color scheme and continuing with the humor. 🙂

  6. Thanks again, your insight is always welcomed as well as appreciated. I’m gonna try to keep with the humor but like you said if something catches my eye I’m going for that one. 😉
