  1. I thought the Highline park was so beautiful, unlike anything I’ve seen in Manhattan before. I love how it’s so green and peaceful and how there are benches everywhere to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. I think it was a great idea making the railroad into the park, I definitely plan on going back. I also found it pretty funny how the older apartments with windows facing out onto the park must have been the worst places to live back when it was a railroad because it was probably so loud, but now that it’s a beautiful park, they’re probably so expensive.

  2. I gotta admit I really loved the spontaneity of going into the Tesla showroom, it really just goes back to that discussion we had about our individual perceptions of art and how some of us don’t generally think about cars as art while others are immediately drawn to it.

Secondly, I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved the little Dollhouse that we saw. I have never seen such impeccable attention to every little detail. I looked inside every room and not only did it contain the things an average house would, every room had a different personality just like the various rooms of a real life house normally would. Of all the galleries we saw, this is the first one that really made me think about how badly I wanted to find the money to buy it and just set it up in my living room, who needs any room to walk around anyway? Hehe.

  3. I agree with Yana that the Highline park was very beautiful and unique. In the middle of the busy city, it is nice to have such a serene place to go to! I’m so happy our class took a trip there as I otherwise would have missed out on this great place. I also enjoyed the dollhouse display as it was so detailed and therefore resembled a real house. This collection of galleries was great to see as we were exposed to so many different types and styles of art.

  4. I agree with Shannon. I also love the dollhouse that we saw. An incredible amount of work and effort must have been put into every tiny little detail of the house. The results were amazing and definitely caught my attention. I guess seeing such a wonderful big dollhouse also appealed to the child in my heart.
